For this task, I was asked to create three future influenced posters for my self-promotional work that reference speed and technology. I began my task by creating mood boards, mind maps, brainstorms and researched posters. I then sketched my ideas and developed them in Illustrator.

Poster 1 includes a geometric illustrated self-image. I wanted to create illustrated designs, so I utilized this approach to produce high-quality results. The tiny triangles pixels show futuristic themes whilst appearing digital.

Poster 2 is inspired by minimalism. According to my research posters in the future will be simple and minimal. This poster reflects this ideology by including an icon self-image with the exclusion of subtle details. The line strips mimic speed and technology.

My final poster is a combination of geometric illustration and swift lines. The imagery is sharp and detailed. I have focused on the side of my face to give a different look in comparison to my previous designs. The swift lines around the body show speed and technology with movement. The squares falling off from my head behind symbolizes movement as a result of moving fast.

Overall I found this task difficult as I was designing posters for the future without a creative idea of future designs. The posters I have created specifically mimic technology and speed in their unique way. They also work well with my promotional work and the powerful illustration gives them a futuristic look.
