Every brand has a recognisable logo, I also need a logo for my brand. I decided to conduct some in-depth research about myself to inspire the visuals. After researching my likes and dislikes I began to gather information on existing logo designs to inspire my outcome.

After conducting research I gathered some ideas and began to draw logo concepts. I was inspired by using my surname Khaliq (creator in Arabic) and writing it in Arabic on my logo. Whilst sketching this idea I realised the writing in Arabic mimicked the letter A from the English alphabet. This then inspired me to manipulate the Arabic writing to form the letter K for Khaliq. I managed to do this and began to develop my design in Adobe Illustrator.

My logo works perfectly in combining my profession and identity. It’s not just limited to brand me as a designer but generalises me in one icon.

I wanted to develop my logo further and decided to experiment with flowers. I added these flowers to my final logo along with the name of my brand. I think these logos look visually pleasing, however, won’t work well on every design, therefore, I may need to opt for the original logo at times.
