I began my work by searching my house for meaningful pieces of ephemera, including postcards, receipts, packaging, leaflets, labels etc. I found this task difficult as I rarely save items.

After gathering my items I was inspired to create a Thank You note for my Self Promotional Container. This note can then be given with all my client’s purchases from my business. I researched existing Thank You notes for inspiration.

After gathering inspiration I then began to develop my images in Adobe Photoshop. I played around with different filters and placed my company logo in the centre.

I was then left with my final outcome which consisted of a front design which featured my logo and ephemera collection. The back design thanked my clients and featured contact details. My card can be featured with my Self-promotional Container as a way to thank my potential clients.

I then Improved this design further by adding stronger ephemera images and placed my new logo design. I improved the layout and made some slight adjustments. Below is my final design.
