For this task, I developed my Future posters. I was asked to add ideas of speed in technology and robots. I began my task by brainstorming, mind mapping, sketching, researching and creating mood boards.

My first poster is inspired by cyborg design and transforms my face into a robot. I have used a secondary image of technology in the background to mimic the speed of technology in a visual sense. This poster is grey and blue toned to mimic a robotic futuristic look.

My second poster is a side illustration of my body and a robot’s body. I have traced a secondary image of a robot and created an illustration using the geometric effect. I then added lines shooting up to show speed and technology.

My third poster is a combination of illustration and photograph. I edited my face and inserted camera lens for the pupils to appear robotic. According to my research robots in the future, it will be hard to differentiate human and robot from just looking at the visuals. Therefore I kept my image as realistic as possible with just adjusting the eyes to give the viewer a sense of a machine rather than a human. The lines shooting from corner to corner represent speed and the grey colours provide a robotic feel.

Overall I am proud of my posters it was an interesting task and encouraged me to think differently. I could improve my work further by enhancing the visual clarity.
